Log every trip you take outside the UK. This tool automatically checks the rolling 180-day rule used for most ILR routes and flags anything that looks risky.
How this works, and its limits
For each trip, this tool sums every day spent abroad in the 365 days ending on that trip's last day, and flags it if that total exceeds 180 — the same rolling-window approach UKVI uses. It also flags any single trip longer than roughly 6 months, which can break continuous residence outright. This is a general calculation based on the standard rule, not a legal assessment of your case — always double-check anything borderline on GOV.UK or with an OISC-registered adviser. Your trip dates are stored only in this browser (localStorage) and are never sent to us or anyone else.
